KHRUSOS
In ancient Greece, there was a precious metal known as Khrusós. This lustrous and shining metal was revered for its beauty and value, and was often used to create intricate pieces of jewellery and artwork.
The people of Greece believed that Khrusós had magical properties, and that it possessed the power to bring good luck and fortune to those who wore it. They also believed that Khrusós was the metal of the gods, and that it was charged with the divine energy of the gods themselves.
In honor of this mythical and magical metal, we have named our new collection of gold pendants "Khrusós" - an ode to Greek and Roman mythology. Each pendant in our Khrusós collection is crafted with the finest 18k gold, and features intricate designs inspired by the mythical creatures of ancient Greece and Rome.
In our collection of unique gold pendants, we have taken some of these mythical creatures and brought them to life.
The first features the wise owl, Athena.
Athena is the goddess of wisdom and strategy. She was often portrayed with her owl companion, symbolizing her intelligence, her keen mind and ability to see through any deception.
Next, we have a horse named Epona Augusta. In ancient mythology, Epona was a powerful goddess, she was the protector of horses and known for her ability to bless the land with fertility and abundance. In Roman mythology she was also associated with the souls journey to the underworld.
The third pendant features a hare. In ancient antiquity the hare had a close connection to Aphrodite, goddess of love, beauty and fertility. It was regarded as a suitable gift between lovers and was seen as a symbol of good luck, vitality, desire and fertility. This beautiful pendant showcases the gentle grace and delicate beauty of this elusive creature, representing the endless cycle of life.
Our fourth is of the mythical phoenix, a powerful bird that was said to be reborn from its own ashes. In ancient mythology, the phoenix was a symbol of renewal and rebirth, and it was often associated with the cycles of life and death in the natural world.
The final pendant features a seahorse, representing the god of the sea, Poseidon. He was known for his power over the oceans and was often portrayed riding a chariot pulled by sea creatures. And did you know his daughters, the Nereids, always rode on their backs as they traveled through the waters?
This delicate pendant showcases the intricate details and delicate beauty of the seahorse, representing the power and mystery of the ocean.
Our Khrusós collection is a tribute to the ancient gods and the stories of their incredible adventures. Each one is a reminder of the power and beauty of the myths that have captivated people for centuries.
